My entry......
a couple more for good measure...lol
I love taking pictures!! I love how the top photo turned out. I used it for my screen saver last summer. The petals look so iridescent. I don't use any photo editing software. I usually just download and go. If I want to participate in a few more "photography" parties I am going to have to find some type of program to use. Any recommendations? "free" is always a plus!!
Those purple flowers are Clematis, aren't they? Beautiful! I can't wait til mine are that plentiful!
ReplyDeleteWhen I have to edit pics I use GIMP. It's free, easy to use, and you can download it here:

Have a great weekend!
Yes Della they are Clematis. And this plant isn't mine either, I was dog sitting for a guy at work and his yard was amazing. I took lots of pictures. Thank for the software!!
DeleteI love the purple of this flower. So pretty. For editing my photos I use Photoshop Elements.

ReplyDeleteI use pixlr.com which is a free online photo editor.
Thanks so much for sharing at Your Sunday Best this week, Roxanne. :)
It is a clematis indeed. Aren't they so pretty!
DeleteYour first shot is gorgeous. I'm trying out a few new photo editors since my go-to program is being pulled by google. I've fooled around a bit with pixlr.com (both the simple and more complex versions) & picmonkey.com. So far I'm not finding exactly what works best for me so I'm still looking.
ReplyDeleteThank you. And thanks for the software input!
DeleteSuch a vibrant shade of purple, lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much ive always thought this was a special shot. I don't get very many that I feel that way about

DeleteHi Roxanne, I love the honesty in your profile. Taking the first step into blogging is a little scary like, "What am I Doing Here". It looks like we both started blogging about the same time. I have truly been enjoying the journey and meeting so many interesting people along the way. I really like your blog, it has already given me an intriguing interest to see your lovely dream island. Speaking of dreams . . . you know that every wonderful thing that never happens in our life, starts first with a dream. One of my favorite quotes is, "Dream Big & Work Hard". That's how you make your dreams come true. I want to invite you over to my blog . . . come visit and join my journey, too. Your newest follower, Connie :)
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, I popped over to your blog and loved your post about the backroads of Oregon. I am following you too.
DeleteHi Roxanne!
ReplyDeleteThat clematis is such a beautiful color! If that looks so good and you haven't enhanced it then you are already a great photographer!
